I have another small update. I finished the radio end of my wiring harness today. This harness will allow me to connect all my amps, speakers, ICQ.4, and sub to the stock radio, without cutting into any of the factory wiring; so, I am pretty excited. Slowly but surely this system will get done. lol

Here is a pic of the radio end of the harness. It looks a little messy right now, but I will clean it up with some techflex when I do the rest of the wiring.

Another small update:

I finished fully installing the ICQ.4 today; it turned out really nice. I still haven't got my amps yet, but they will come soon enough. For what its worth, the ICQ.4 was really easy to tune, and I can already see it as a great value. Also, I'm trying to decide if I should go the extra mile and put my tablet in the dash. This picture doesn't show all the fabrication involved, but it does give a decent idea on how the tablet will look when its done. What do you guys think about the placement?

I ordered my amps today. I ended up going with the TA 4.280 and the TA 1.600D. The money i saved is hopefully going to a new battery. Amps should be here wednesday; i will post pics when they get here.

Wen are going to stard on the sub box

I am going to start the fiberglass box around the first of december, but I might build a "quickie" box around the 15th. I have to get the wiring done before I can hear any music.

I broke down and bought some MDF today to make an enclosure for the SA8. lol! I won't get to start on it till next weekend; but nevertheless, it is still a step forward. Inner box dimensions will be, 11"x8"x18." The port will have an inner diameter of three inches, and will be 18.75 inches long--providing a tuning frequency of 35 hertz.

Looks good so far and should sound great. Keep the pics of progress coming. My son had a 95 Camery XLE and i put infinity amps and comps in the front with the 6x9s in the rear. We had the infinity 600.1 pushing his RF P2s in the factoory box in the trunk. For our first build it was pretty nice. Good luck with yours sir!
