I got everything hooked up and the sub seems it should be a lot louder then it is.mit was a lot louder in the showroom where I bought it then it is in my car. Showroom it was on a 600.1 amp and I'm running it on a saz-1200.1 it should be getting down but it's not. I checked all my connections and they are all good the head unit is a alpine 145bt (long story) lol but ya I know this thing should be ALOT louder then it is.. Help! baaudio Posted February 12, 2014 Report Share Posted February 12, 2014 okay, so a couple things to keep in mind. In the showroom subs almost always sound awesome. Its just the way the sound reflects in the room. Secondly, your bmw is a luxury car full of sound deadening materials consisting of thick foam and rubber designed to absorb vibration and unwanted sounds. Lastly, in most BMWs the rear seat doesnt fold down and is actually a piece of steel all the way across. The sound has a hard time traveling thru that.
