What purpose does the power resistor do? Play a test tone, full tilt on the HU. Measure HU speaker outputs with a DMM on Vac. Make sure all signals are there. Then feed to LC6i and do the same thing on all the RCA outputs. The resistors are just meant to fool the hu into thinking thwre is a 4 ohm load on the line I just pkayed with again un wired everything and fiddled with it and somehow it kicked in the resistors were reading 4 ohm but at the end was reading 30 ohm. In this car the 4.3" UConnect is tied into all the settings for the whole car so when you want an aftermarket stereo there is a double din kit that moves the AC controls down and puts the HU down near the shifter so you end up with 2 screens one that serves no purpose as a radio any longer. I said to myself would Scott take the easy way out or would he kick puppies and punch babies until he figured out the issue? I chose to figure it out and I think I have as Bill mentioned I may have had a loose connection causing it not to read correctly. I will now get this all unwired again and start getting this back in play. One issue figured out a million more to go. WOOT!!!!! I was unable to swap mine also.
