ChevyBoy95 Posted November 1, 2013 Report Posted November 1, 2013 Stop calling it a 2000w amp.... Because it isn't. That "2000" watts is a fabricated number by the manufacturer to get people to buy this MASSIVE 2000Watt AMP!!! Only numbers that matter are the rms ratings, which are what the amp actually produces, and with cheaper brands even that number is wrong due to some special case they create in perfect conditions in house not in a vehicle. The 10a = 100w is a general rule of thumb that is generally VERY accurate to specs, and some what close to actual output. In reality it could have 100a of fusing and you might get 1500ws out of it. It depends on the efficiency of the amp. But in the end, that is a 600-800w amp. The alpine might have not been as loud but was a better quality product in my opinion. cloud77 Posted November 2, 2013 Report Posted November 2, 2013 It might blow them cause that amp probably puts out very crap power signals and clips like mad. It won't blow them because its over powering, because its bad quality equipment. 2004 Grand Prix GT (2) 12" RE XXXs (04/05 XBL^2) 5 cu. ft tuned @ 35 Hz MMATS HD4000.05 MMATS SQ4100 Infinity Kappa components Juice Box black cherry Duralast platinum group 34 1/0 KNU OFC, 2/0 welding Singer 250A
