Help adding a third battery

ok so I have an optima yellow under the hood & a d3100 in the back just got another d3100. Which is the best possible way to wire them so that my amps get the most power from them . or just plain pos to pos . neg to neg or neg to ground. please help :noob:

Head unit: Pioneer DEH-P5200 HD

Amps: 2 Hifonics BE 2500(Brutus Elite) 1 Hifonics BRX 1200.4(Brutus)

Subs: 2 ORION HCCA 15's at 1 ohm

Mids: 2 Alpine SPS-609 ,2 Alpine SPG-69C3 , 2 Alpine SPR-50C

Highs: 2 Pyramid 3" TW67 Super Titanium tweeters , 2 Falcon SDS500 horns

EQ: Clarion EQS746

Alt: 220amp

Batts: 1 optima yellow under the hood , 2 XS POWER D3100's in the back

Wire: Big 3 upgrade 0gauge all thru

Fuses: Stinger 300amp

Box enclosure: FATBOX USA

Just plain negative to negative and positive to positive.

You don't wanna wire in series, you'd get 24 volts

Just plain negative to negative and positive to positive.

You don't wanna wire in series, you'd get 24 volts

Ok I hooked up the third battery. but now im noticing my bass doesn't sound as deep as before. could somebody please explain why this is happening. yes it sounds hard as hell but not low.

yes I charged the battery before I put it in. played the same songs but it doesn't sound the same. I started playing around with the settings on the amps just in case I had to recalibrate it because of the xtra power. but nothing. They don't have that deep punch from before. pissing me off. didn't think that adding an xtra batt was gunna change my bass all up.

I did mess with the subsonic & the low pass. I did it by ear but the best way it sounded was the way I already had them . just sounds hard not deep. I know you know whwt im talking about. I didn't touch anything else while I was hooking them up. just did pos to pos neg to neg. 2 d3100 in the back & my bass sounds like shit. don't understand this.
