Mtnbikecrazy55
Actually, it may indeed not be cedar at all, as many times "cedar" chests are just cedar lined. Which, in the case that it is, do not use any type of oil/sealant etc on the inside as the nice cedar smell is there on purpose! Last cedar chest I built was Birdseye maple with walnut accents, then cedar lining the inside. Took it to a woodworking competition and found a buisness card of a guy asking if it was for sale. I called him up, agreed on a price, and bam, sold it. Kinda wish I hadn't sold it, but oh well, it turned a nice profit I hate long signatures.... ...what the fuck is wrong wiht you you fucking fuckity fuck fuck head... David Bailey
LOL, I appreciate it guys, especially the free offer. But, being that this is a family piece for my mom, I want to do it myself. I am sure it will be mine one day, and I am a sucker for my family's history. I have some cool old photo's in my barbershop of my grandparents that I never even knew. They passed while I was an infant, but I look just like my grandfather. Ya know, this show's a lot of the character of this site, being a car audio site, that so many people are trying to help. I really appreciate it. If I am right, that wood lean toward it being cedar, instead of a heavier wood. (Who see's what I did there?) Did you get that scar tissue when you got your vagina installed?
