SICKSPD
New pics: Decided to recut the outer trim piece to make it one piece instead of three Got the sides cut and fitted Mounting the top Pulled it all out of the car to put it together This isn't the actual subwoofer box if you are wondering. This is just the structure to place the box in to actually seal it from the trunk. Obviously its made from plywood and i might eventually remake it with mdf or just fiberglass the plywood. Im satisfied so far with how its turning out 09 Challenger R/T (Audio system under construction): Pioneer AVH-X4500BT (PAC RP4CH11 harness) (2) Sundown Audio SA-8v2 (inverted) CT Sounds AT1400.1D XS Power D3400 40 sq ft. IBleedMusick
If that is 9 ply birch kinda looks like it then use that for the box it will be better for weight and works well also. 2013 Dodge Charger Build Log 1996 Ford Explorer XLT 5.0Build Log 2005 Honda Civic LX Coupe Build Log SMD SUPER SELLER!!!!My Selling Feedback
Pro7
That looks like a nice way to seal it off. Also loving the car man! I have a chrysler 300 that I put halos in and from my experience flashtech had cheaper options for the same setup than oracle but both are top notch! I've gotten a blowjob and picked up my iphone behind her back to see what email notification I got from smd before

I'm not too familiar with different types of wood, but as far as the structure goes I feel like this will work for now at least and serve its purpose. The box won't be made out of this wood though. That looks like a nice way to seal it off. Also loving the car man! SICKSPD
Gotta lot of work done the past couple days. Here we go... Heres some woofer porn for yall... my mojo 15 vs my sundown sa-8v2 I said screw it and decided to go crazy with the body filler and covered all the surfaces that would be viewable from inside the cabin to give it a smooth, non-wood surface for the paint. Im sure fiberglass would have been the more appropriate measure for something with the much surface area to make smooth but I have no experience with it and I've messed around with body filler a little bit so this seemed to work. What do yall think? Was using solely body filler to make the surface smooth a harder or incorrect route to take? It came out looking good but id appreciate the input Added another slot for a second battery as well as finished bolting the battery kit thing in with the j hooks. Somehow it was perfect fit. My car is multi-purpose lol opted out of buying a table saw with my funds being low so I improvised to make this skil saw more accurate at cutting straight using this angle iron and some c-clamps, it worked surprisingly well. Primered and painted the enclosure structure Now check this out... i kinda impressed myself with how it looks so far. Just test fitting here but you can get a good idea how itll look once its finished. 09 Challenger R/T (Audio system under construction): Pioneer AVH-X4500BT (PAC RP4CH11 harness) (2) Sundown Audio SA-8v2 (inverted) CT Sounds AT1400.1D XS Power D3400 40 sq ft. Reed Farrar
clamping the piece of metal is great idea. i need to try to do something like that since a table saw is to damn much
SICKSPD
loving the progress, keep up the good work! Thank ya Nice box. Gonna sound good when its all done. thank ya, certainly hope so lol, this box will probably be in there for a few months before I redo it with a 4th order that will slide into the sealed off structure. clamping the piece of metal is great idea. i need to try to do something like that since a table saw is to damn much I saw this guy make his own 90 angle out of wood and would follow the piece along the edge. I bought that angle iron to use as a way to mount and secure the box to the false floor but I was looking for straight edges to use as a fence to cut along and realized that piece of metal would be perfect 09 Challenger R/T (Audio system under construction): Pioneer AVH-X4500BT (PAC RP4CH11 harness) (2) Sundown Audio SA-8v2 (inverted) CT Sounds AT1400.1D XS Power D3400 40 sq ft.
