SICKSPD Posted January 24, 2014 Author Report Posted January 24, 2014 I love the look of those sa's inverted. Looks sick. That must bring quite the smile to your face every time you turn around and see that. ya really makes the build unique in my opinion. Ive seen several setups on here similar to mine as far as having the sealed system with the box slightly recessed but never with inverted subs. definitely a piece to show off without even playing any music. 09 Challenger R/T (Audio system under construction): Pioneer AVH-X4500BT (PAC RP4CH11 harness) (2) Sundown Audio SA-8v2 (inverted) CT Sounds AT1400.1D XS Power D3400 40 sq ft. Bodied B2600ZX Posted January 24, 2014 Report Posted January 24, 2014 Another question. Did you flip the gasket over in the subs? The gasket had raised letters and you will definitely leak unless you flip the gasket over, or put your own gasket material between the box and sub 2 - Sundown SA 8V2 | CT Sounds 1400.1 | Pioneer DEH-X8500BS | 4/0 Big 3

P4killer_ Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 Also check your ground. A bad ground on the amp would def effect your voltage. With subs playing decently maybe half volume not full tilt. Run your fingers around the gaskets. If you feel air or hear air leaking it's an issue and will sound like crap. Also if you have too much port area.. itll sound shitty. Really shitty as far as music goes. Setup: 2010 Hyundai Elantra Factory Unit via 4 chan NVX LOC Excessive Amperage "H/O" Alt Xs D3400/ Xs XP3000 Big 3. 2 Runs of +, 2 Runs of - DD M3b and 2 12" AQ HDC4s

Also if you have too much port area.. itll sound shitty. Really shitty as far as music goes. Well the thing is I'm using the same ground location as the battery for the car. I used this location previously when I had the amp hooked up to my mojo 15 and I could have sworn it didn't cause voltage drop as much as it is now. I do get a drop even without being full tilt. its bad. I think I do have a leak as well. Idk if i should pull the box out of the sealed trunk enclosure thing to remove the subs or try to tackle removing them how they are now 09 Challenger R/T (Audio system under construction): Pioneer AVH-X4500BT (PAC RP4CH11 harness) (2) Sundown Audio SA-8v2 (inverted) CT Sounds AT1400.1D XS Power D3400 40 sq ft. SICKSPD Posted January 27, 2014 Author Report Posted January 27, 2014 I seriously need to consider bolting handles on the back of the box if I plan on removing it every now and then. Because that thing is wedged in there tight lol 09 Challenger R/T (Audio system under construction): Pioneer AVH-X4500BT (PAC RP4CH11 harness) (2) Sundown Audio SA-8v2 (inverted) CT Sounds AT1400.1D XS Power D3400 40 sq ft. P4killer_ Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 Ur port is approx 3 x10 right? 30 sq inches / 1.3 cuft is 23 inches of port per cube. Which issss way too much. Im on mobile. Recalc ur tuning also. You want 12-16 inches per cube. A way big port and the subs will act like their in free air aka not loud. Not much air movement.
