Im not 100% on this but since our interors are very close... You might check under the hood on the passanger side. Look on the Firewall, there should be a grommet there. That hole should lead to behind the glove box where that same grommet is behind the vent box were the blower motor is located.

I think i remember seeing a grommet. Idk how id access that from the inside if its behind the glove box.

I don't think it's too much power but clipping that is causing voltage drop. I had the same problem but bought the DD 1 and set it up correctly and now it's minimal drop. That was 2400 @ 1ohm 14.4 v. I am running mine at .5 pushing a HDC 3 12. Only a 180 ho alt but all good 1/0 wire. My truck charges at 13 .9 so I am not getting full power but my voltage will go to 13 .2 full tilt. If I clip my sub it will drop down into the mid to low 12s which I don't do. Also amp barley gets warm because the gains are set up right and I don't clip the he'll out of my sub.

Yeah im dropping down below 12 even while running. Its not good but I did turn down the gain and the once again tweaked the filters. Its sounding crisper and not as muddy. Now i just need more volume overall from these subs. I think with a dd-1 I can properly sync up the head unit so I can actually turn the volume all the way up without the speakers distorting as well as getting maximum power from the amp at the same time.

I have a difficult time differentiating what unloading versus bottoming out versus clipping sounds like but it doesn't sound like the subs are being as stressed as before.

This head unit volume control goes to either 40 or 50 and I don't like to go past around 31 without the speakers starting to lose quality in sound, but once I tune it properly, if my understanding is correct Ill be able to have the volume adjusted so it can go all the way while still sounding fine. Thus I can truly go full tilt on the amp.

I played a 40HZ tone at that volume and turned up the gain until I got a solid light then backed it off until the light went off. After checking it with the DD1 the clip like on my bass knob actually came on first then the DD1 light would come on.

I bought a ct 2500 and plan on running two HDC 3 12s
