Slammed Dodge Challenger Sundown/CT Sounds Build

Recommended Posts

Got those 8s moving!

Contemplating either going with a Sundown X on the 1400.1 or going full out CT and doing 3 Tropo 10s/2 Strato 12s on the 1400.1

anyways enough about me.

Your car is my dream car. Except I want that sexy ass plum purple paint

Well as a audio junkie I'm already thinking of my next system. The CT 1400 will definitely stay, as i can put either more subs or new subs with bigger power handling capabilities and still be fine, but I'm debating if i wanna go with the ct sounds meso 8s and get like 3 of them or do like 3 10s or maybe like 4 8s or idk haha I'm getting ahead of myself

and the PCP is pretty, i think it would be cool in flat paint or like flat lime green or flat mopar blue. Im debating plastidipping my car in some color.

Do you have it sealed off yet?

its about 75% to 80% sealed off. sprayed the foam yesterday. ill upload a pic. gotta still deaden the rear shelf as I'm pretty sure theres a bunch of openings still up there.

Hell yea! I'm downloading this to play in mine! Lol never heard of him.

He's actually friends with Steve Meade. His whole album "Diamond in the Mudd" is complete bass tracks. Its badass

Who is that song by?

Psyph Morrison

drilled out the screw holes to secure the back of the box to the floor on the angle aluminum.

Besides all the painters tape i pre applied to my enclosure installation i also put some on the inside cabin side to make sure that the foam wouldn't squish out like crazy on the other side. unfortunately i didn't do this along the top edge so it did seep out. i wiped it off and the residue from the foam ruined the paint leaving a shiny finish on my black paint. ill get a pic of it tomorrow, but I'm literally stumped what to do about it. I might have to repaint the area.

and yeah I'm aware of the jagged sheet metal that i jacked up, i bent it all up trying to get it flat as possible. Im going to put piece of rubber sealant strip down the edge that should hide the jaggedness, because idk how else it'll get straight.

So I only got to try one song before my girlfriend started yelling at me saying it was too loud, but no hair trick. I did give a demo to my boss however and he did crack a smile when the bass hit. Them 8s slam the lows
