kadrek
I've never seen a mono amp with four places to put speaker wires. Which of the four places would I put the wires from the subwoofers in? The two to the right like in the manual? Would that give 500 rms @ a 2 ohm load? Amp in question: http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-GM-D8601-Class-Amplifier-Remote/dp/B00A02QLVA Or would this amp be better? http://www.amazon.com/Alpine-MRV-M500-Mono-subwoofer-amplifier/dp/B00BMR7UPS Thanks in advance! rockFord_Expedition
When a mono amp has more than one speaker terminal it doesn't matter which one. Think of it as a distribution block. Just pick a set and your done. No need to try to "bridge" anything. twisted1
Its just there for convenient wiring. . If amp said 500.2 then you can bridge it. 09 mustang gt
bassman619
If u use both sets of inputs on a mono amp what it will do is act like you have the two sub woofers wired in parallel.. so say you wire one 4ohm dual voice coil sub to each channel with the coils on the subs wired in parallel it will result in a one ohm load ..idk what they even put two channels on it when its really one channel You need trunk space to get groceries and shit...bitches love groceries

They put two sets of speaker outputs to add wiring flexibility and allow larger wire runs without trying to squeeze two larger wires into a smaller connector. gattiboy13
FYI...Awesome amp, it pushes some real power very clean and never heats up at 1ohm.
