civicduty Posted May 10, 2008 Report Share Posted May 10, 2008 well i drove it today and got a sreet tune on it..... all i can say is WOW..... every one needs boost.... i did one decent first gear pull from a roll on at about 20 mph and it spun the tires all the way to 7000 rpm when i let off... and thats with a lsd and sticky tires i cant wait til tuesday when it hits the dyno for a good tune..... only a fool judges his life by what he sees in other peoples eyes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

civicduty Posted May 14, 2008 Report Share Posted May 14, 2008 well i got boned...... the turbo let go and force fed metal shavings into my motor...... it turns out t25s dont like compressor surge.... so i'm building my spare LS block.... i hope to have it done in a month...... i was pretty pissed .... tuesday morning i fired it up and it puffed a cloud of smoke out of the breather and started pissing oil out of the exhaust..... i did a leak down test and FAIL....... i have #3 and #4 cylinders with 80% and 40% ....... the turbo was nice and tight when i put it in and now theres a crack in the housing and the bearings are toast..... the only thing we can come up with is monday night we did a first gear pull and the boost spiked to 17lbs..... becase the wastegate vac line tore ....... so 17lbs of compressor surge and a T25 dont get along...... thats what i get for not having a BOV i guess.... so now the plan is a 9:1 ls vtec setup....... and maybe a super 16g....we'll see how it goes only a fool judges his life by what he sees in other peoples eyes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
