Alouie
I've got paperwork on it with the name brand, specifications and all that but I have yet to find it. I have had it about a year.
Junior Russell
A less than reputable place. Guest
my two eBay alts were trash. literally useless for powering a vehicle. good for a paperweight though. I don't like 0 idle output and voltage fluctuations between 12 and 16 volts while playing music. they both charged almost a whole volt lower than my stock one while cold
finkster
Jeez my head hurts 4 gauge CCA is not good enough for that amp, period. Try grounding straight to your alt case instead of the block. And jesus christ guys, he does not need a second battery and has nothing to do with his voltage drop. Guest
five bucks says the amp ratings on the spec paper you got are all cold numbers, with idle being like 900 engine rpm or something
RMac18
Kolossus Fleks Kable 1/0 Red Power /Ground Wire. It's 100% copper and $4 a foot. I want 100% copper but can anyone tell me of a cheaper wire out there? Can't go wrong with Knu, however if you want cheaper wire you won't be disappointed in then check out sky high here on the forums. You'll be pleased with either wire. Alouie
Well I can't say that it will hold up to the specs on the paperwork that came with it but it dose out perform my stock one by a long shot. I guess I should take it to a alt shop and have them test it.
finkster
You upgraded all this stuff but skimped on the wiring of the amp....which is the biggest strain on your whole car's electrical system. They made that amp to accept 4 gauge OFC not CCA. DAT 4125------>RE XXX comps active Eclipse cd7000 I serve drunks for a living
