Not enough alt, battery, or both bad?

Recommended Posts

Mechman emailed me and suggested the G series 250a. Anyone have experience with that alt?

That alt is what I am currently running in my 07 Trailblazer. No issue with it so far. You can check my build log out to see where I'm at. Just put the alt in this past weekend.

Singer sent me this... He was higher than mechman by $100 and I thought he was the most reasonable?

These plugs are also compatible with the XS power VCM (voltage controller) if you ever would like to add it to the order.

The vcm is $159

The upgraded unit that I offer for your vehicle is a 250A (275A peak)-suitable for up to 4K RMS daily-. This alternator is a direct bolt on design for your vehicle and would plug in just like the factory alternator (includes overdrive pulley for proper idle performance at low rpm).

The total price on this unit shipped w/ my lifetime warranty on labor is $439.

All units come w/ a lifetime warranty that covers any repair labor (parts are at company cost) You can add a powder coating option on any order for an additional $48.

I also have a larger option in this model as well that is a 350A version (rear mount is deleted)

This upgrade is $579 shipped with my same lifetime warranty on labor (I would consider it more suitable for up to 6K daily)
