JNells Posted January 17, 2014 Author Report Share Posted January 17, 2014 I'm going to relocate the 2 cigarette lighter (charging) plugins to the side of the center console. (By the legs) Since i took them out for the switches. Thinking one on each side. There's enough factory wiring to give me some wiggle room. Now that I have the eq and switches in, I feel a huge weight off my project, and will likely be starting my drivers door as well as my crossover mounts soon. Kind of took a little hiatus from SMD and my project for a min, but am back now and will be getting back to the build soon enough... JNells Posted February 7, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 7, 2014 Taped off my door panel (passenger) and attached the pod and added bond glass to the edges, and sanded it flush with the panel. Then I filled the entire pod including the speaker ring with taped off speaker grill so it all looks smooth, tight, and flush.
