Annnnnd here is the final result...

There are minor blemishes but I ran thru all my body filler, all my primers, and all of the gloss paint I had. (The gloss paint kept messing up and drying weird) so I went real light with it, giving it an almost textured look and feel.

Going to let cure until tomorrow then I'll be reinstalling

Contemplating starting the base molds for kicks tonight too

Curiosity got the best of me so had to see what it looked like.. Speakers got a lil dusty but not too shabby looking for 3 day pods. Could've done better with more product but I accomplished what I set out to do with what I had and used up most of it. Just enough resin and duraglass to do kick base molds

Got everything back in and installed. Running he PRV @2ohm crossed at 160 at HU

First impression: holy shit do they sound good. A lot louder than the xxx with more clarity and punch.

Thanks man, appreciate the compliment, and I'd be happy to help ya learn how to do anything I've done. I'm no expert myself, but I've messed up and if anything I can tell you what NOT to do... Lol.

Kicks all glassed. 3-4 layers on outside, 1-2 layers on inside joints and braces. Should be like a rock, I'm going overkill since they are kicks and likely to be KICKED lol.
