2 sa12 Malibu trunk build... Need help!!

Setup:

2 sa-12s on saz-1200.1.

05 Malibu trunk

I have rear fold down seats, but would like to keep them up as this is my DD and for everyday use.

So I am looking for help as to my best route.. 4th order bandpass? Port thru rear deck? Reposition 6x9s and just use cut outs as a "port"? In all cases how should I go about box design and fabrication?

Port through the rear deck ONLY if you are doing a 4th bandpass but not for a simple ported.

Bear in mind that a 4th bandpass is larger than ported when setup for output (high chamber ratio) so it may not fit.

Also bandpass boxes give you more control over the sub stage bandwidth if you don't exercise good judgement on how to set it up you may either end up with a low output box or a one note wonder, leaks internal or external can ruin the whole operation of the box, success rate of bandpass builds are lower than their simpler counterparts. Just make sure that you know what you are doing and build carefully.
