Brian617 Posted November 25, 2013 Report Posted November 25, 2013 Are there any valid battery comparison tests, or objective information on the internals? Consumer reports tested a bunch of batteries, but they were all mainstream car starting battery brands.
soundzright Posted November 26, 2013 Report Posted November 26, 2013 New Kinetik Pro series looks awesome.
hdorre Posted November 26, 2013 Report Posted November 26, 2013 And yes, if you can afford them, XS and Kinetic are great batteries. More budget friendly ones would be Deka brand agm's.This x10000 If I could comfortably buy XS, then I would. No doubt. They're just a bit too expensive. Dekas and C&Ds are great cheaper batteries. When revving at 1800-2000 rpms, I drop like .5 volt max. I have 2 C&D 75aH batts and a Singer 230A alt. Im running ~2300wrms. Honestly, I can't complain at all for what I paid for the batteries.
