i dont want to blow my subs so soon but i love to bump them hard as hell. but how do i know when enough is enough. because i have no idea what 750 rms feels like. and if do have them at the max rms, when is time to lower it down?

as long as your in the RMS range and you arent clipping them you should be fine.

As far as breaking in beat on them like you normally would.

whats "clipping"?

and i dont know how loud 750 rms, what sound instrument can i use to measure it? what about the excursion of my speakers?

clipping is when your amplifier tries to put out more power than is designed to and sends dc voltage through your subs/speakers which can burn your voice coils very fast.

The loudness of 750w rms depends in a lot of things woofers, box, amp, car ect. to measure sound pressure accurately you need to use a termlab.
