Regular Cab truck Box

Recommended Posts

Yuck! Please stop with the 6x9s! you wont hear them behind the seats. Concentrate on the sub box and what you want behind the seat, Get some really good 6.5 comps for the doors and if thats not enough then look into some kicker panels. I know you have an idea in your head but listen to others and there advice. Good luck! Just my 2 cents!

Would this work?

ok i think we got it figured out

2 4" midrange speakers mounted up high for listening to country and music with no bass.

Either 2 e-10s or 2 sd 10s depending on which is better and if its worth the price difference.

Rockford Fosgate prime 1200.1

and a custom ported box

If i use a 5" round aero port where do i put it. If i put it on the side i feel like it will hit the driver. Could i use 2 ports half the size? Will the seem to hit harder if the ports are out in the open. if it is on the side i feel like it would make nise since the port (if on the side) would be around 1 inch from the wall of the truck.

You need to leave room for clearance of the port opening and Amy obstacle, I.e. B-pillar. You would need to take width away from the box to allow the port to clear. I've got two 4" ports firing at the B-pillar and it sounds perfectly fine. It acts as something for the port to load off of and I have proper clearance so there isn't any noise.

You need a box design from someone on this forum. Ask JoeX our someone like myself in PM, AND I'LL be happy to help get you a design. You also just need to hear a truck with a box like this, they sound great

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
