LSN2meBoom916
NO ok thats my fault i said it wrong. I did like u said, which i should have thought of but i'm retarded apparently. I swapped the L/R rca's at the amp and the fade-in/out moved with it FROM passenger TO driver. Then new deck w/ rca's swapped sides and same fade-in/out on same side as swapped the 1st time (driver), then swapped em back at amp and it's back to start on the passenger side. ??? Ghosts? LSN2meBoom916
Ok I'm retarded twice. I guess it wasn't the rca. I pulled out the PG twisted pair rca I THOUGHT wa the prob. I picked up a new JL rca.(decent quality IMO) Same shit. I checked output AT the amp....bingo. as I'd feared dead front right channel. (Like i said it fades in and out) So...=gay. The suck. Tech I have another amp but for now I swapped the rca's at amp so front=rear and vice versa and swapped speaker connects to the same. So i basically just isolated the problem and moved it to the rear fill which i generally have turned way down anyhoo. Band-aids FTW. I swap the amp out later or just wait till i do a proper rebuild. But DEEEEEMNIT! :ranting2: Thnx again Ray. LSN2meBoom916
OK-not so much "tech support" but more of an exp/opinion for Mr. Ray: Knowing that you dealt with planet Audio at Superior, did you have any exp w/ the Vortex series subs? In particular the VPX108 dual 4ohm 10's. Just curious. Andrew
Ok, I've searched and searched and have yet to find the answer to this ?. How do I figure out how to tune my box? I know that there are programs and such that you can use. But how do pro's like Ray and Meade do it? I can't figure it out. I've gotten down the whole cu. ft. part of it, but I want to know how to tune a box if I wanted to do a different kind of port then what is usually used on sites like subwoofertools.com etc. Thanks, Andrew New project in the works
