JeeeF Posted December 1, 2013 Report Posted December 1, 2013 Probably a dumb question, I have a digital designs m1c it automatically goes into protect mode when I turn it on, took it down to the basic state (power, ground and remote) and it continued to do it, Any ideas? Best to just send off to dd and get it fixed?
hazestorm23 Posted December 1, 2013 Report Posted December 1, 2013 Have you opened it to examine the guts as to see if anything is burnt or a loose wire somewhere? Check the RCA's from the inside sometimes they can get loose and touch

I know but I had the same thing happened to my rf 500.1 with power remote and ground only I got an instant protect. Opened it up and the rca metal piece was touching the other metal piece it was bent a bit but just enough to touch thus giving the protect . Its just a suggestion but I know your more experienced so you know better
Tim Webb Posted December 1, 2013 Report Posted December 1, 2013 sounds like the power supply is shorted
