Karkov
It happens with Pioneer units when a rca is unplugged under power. Piezo bad in unit. I have my power wire for radio running to fuse and constant on the cig lighter. I also have the case grounded on it also. I have no whine in mine. Is the wine at no volume level also? Some ground there rca's plug somehow. Not my choice though. Yes, volume at 0 on HU but HU on and it stills whines, changing pitches at different RPM's Do you have system hook up to steering wheel controls? Try the rca ground thing! My steering wheel has the controls but with the aftermarket HU I did not reconfigure to get them working, just kind of old schooling it... you mean like wrap that wire on the rear of the HU with wire around all the RCA outs? 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq. Yea, i know what you mean, are you suggesting that odd way of grounding the RCA's behind the HU? lol 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq. alaskanzx5
the pico fuse is for the RCA grounds, when that fuse blows your RCAS are no longer grounded. You can open up the hu and add some solder to complete the connection again or wrap a piece of wire around all the RCAS and ground that wire t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
