oldsoundguy
Man that's an awesome build, I must hear it in person!! oldsoundguy, I think I may be close to you. I too have a DC Audio m38 8" dvc 2 ohm sub that I plan to build a t-line enclosure and put her in the ext cab of my s10. I have never heard a T-Line enclosure before but if it sounds better than my box then it will sound real good. 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/

They have some advantages and disadvantages. Overall tho it'll play from about 28-60 Hz. I gotta ask, the baltic birch you bought from Dunn Lumber, was it in Marysville you bought it from or Everett? I'm in the Smokey Point area and not many good wood places around.

oldsoundguy
I think I paid 46 for the 5' x 5' 3/4" and 28 for the 5'x5' 1/2" I didnt use much of the 1/2" so I should of just bought two sheets of the 3/4" I can tell you its worth the extra money over the MDF and better than the home depot stuff which isnt real baltic birch. 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/
boomintahoe
There's a place in Marysville that I got some birch from but was 65 bucks or so for a 4x8 sheet. Had a very glossy finish, on both sides. Didn't like it too much but used it for my Sundown Audio x 15's build I made this past summer. Gonna take your advice and visit Dunn Lumber. I need me some real baltic birch for the t-line build.
oldsoundguy
I did some research and found that REAL baltic birch 13 ply only comes in 5x5. I could be wrong though. 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/

oldsoundguy
Finally felt good enough to install the toolmaker batter terminals. Much better than stacking everything on one bolt. Yes there is a bolt missing on the pos battery side. Dropped it into the abyss and cant find it. Don't really need it right now but should be an easy find at Ace. Its dirty under my hood. lol 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/
