Looks like you have the wrong battery and needed a side post one, or at the very least adaptors to get it to the side so factory power would hook up. We all live and learn the hard way but i would say this is not your fault. Hopefully it can be trouble shooted and fixed so you dont continue to have problems. The battery that was put in somehow was bad and had a bad cell, it is a 2150 cranking amps battery and when tested was coming up at only 300 cranking amps and was drawing wrong.
