Joe X Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 You want to check the voltage on the power terminals of the amp while in protect (it should be at least 12.5V) and then test the DC resistance of the coils wired in parallel, sub disconnected to the amp (it should be 1.7 ohm or so ), if everything looks normal then it's likely going to be the amp the problem. nothing unheard of Hifonics amps.
