Skax Posted December 16, 2013 Author Report Posted December 16, 2013 If you have a T1500BDCP you may as well run them at 2 ohm. It will power them well. ok appreciate it man 2002 Mustang GT Procharged Procharger P1SC Supercharger, 8psi Procharger Intercooler, Headers, Borla Off Road X-Pipe Exhaust, Mass Airflow Upgraded Fuel Injectors SCT Flash Chip (Excaliber II), Throttle Body, Lowering Springs, Carbon Fiber Hood -Front 275/40ZR17 -Rear 315/35ZR17 5.0 Short Shifter 3.55 Gears
Souldrop Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 Peak is really a useless number. You should stick with RMS...Always look at RMS ratings more so than peak:) Even at 2 ohms the t1500 will probably be sending them over rated, so be careful on your gain and light on your bass boost. 1997 Lexus ES300 HU - Pioneer MVH 7350 Processor - Helix DSP Front Stage - JBL P660C Mid/high amp - Alpine PDX-F4 Subs - 1 IA Death Penalty 12 Sub Amp - Cactus Sounds PF300.1

CleanSierra Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 If you give the model number of the sub, we can tell you if it's a Dual 2 ohm or Dual 4 ohm sub. Just because there are two vice coils per sub doesn't mean anything or tell you anything about the impedance. The Fosgate is not stable below 1 ohm and will go into protect if you wire below that impedance. Give us model number of the sub for more precise help Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
Skax Posted December 16, 2013 Author Report Posted December 16, 2013 yeah i dont turn my actual bass boost on my amp or head unit up at all i just turn the sub level up thanks for the help guys 2002 Mustang GT Procharged Procharger P1SC Supercharger, 8psi Procharger Intercooler, Headers, Borla Off Road X-Pipe Exhaust, Mass Airflow Upgraded Fuel Injectors SCT Flash Chip (Excaliber II), Throttle Body, Lowering Springs, Carbon Fiber Hood -Front 275/40ZR17 -Rear 315/35ZR17 5.0 Short Shifter 3.55 Gears
