Question on making a Relay turn on kit! Need Help!

Recommended Posts

Im making a relay turn on kit for my hids and LEDs.

1) is this diagram right

2) i also do not understand where you connect the positive and negative of an led to the relay?

can you ground the negative any where and then just wire the positive to 87 or 87a?

3) and taking this a step further, can i just add a terminal strip in place to add more than one accessory?

I have all those parts literally lol im just gonna make it myself

only question is why are the blue and black wire jumped/connected by the relay?

It is a diode to protect the incoming source unit.

lots of sky high cable

all being ripped out and being sold

so its not necessary?

The one in mine is a in4002 diode. Necessary, probably not as most people run relays without them. Some piece of mind, maybe.
