CleanSierra Posted December 28, 2013 Report Share Posted December 28, 2013 If you do port on the bottom, you need clearance in front of it before any obstacles, like the hatch or a battery. Same goes for the vertical slot port. I've seen both setups before in that vehicle. I Like the bottom port option better(sharing one port wall). The slot oort is ok too, but just not my personal preference in that vehicle. I'd do bottom port along the back of the box, subs firing up. I wouldn't be afraid to give the subs airspace either, you're not going to get 3200 in the real world. The more you start to shrink volume, the more you may affect low end extension. 4-5 cubes NET per sub will be fine. Double baffle will be necessary and bracing with all thread or bigger dowels.
