taping up the rear glass window so once the rear deck is fiberglassed have to put it back in the car and put C pillars on the rear deck to get the mold on the rear deck before sanding and priming

just my recommendation, quit messing with the prefab boxes and get a good proper box built. youre doing that HCCA no justice by using shitty boxes. you obviously care about your car and how it sounds so why hinder the sub stage performance??? before you cut out where your latch is, which will likely lead to the trunk not shutting properly, measure it out and see if you can build a custom box that will fit properly and allow that sub to perform how it should. the HCCA is a great woofer, i just think your chasing your tail by using prefab boxes.

i have been impressed with the work youve done to the car. it really shows the kind of passion many of us have. just trying to give some advice from experience.

Once Bondo applied fiberglass and I applied the heat gun on it so it doesn't drip in my car we took it back to the Da C and let it dry there for awhile

The prefab boxes that I have like the one for the 10 inch hcca is just temporary until the air ride suspension is in my car and once it is in my car I'm going to sell the 10 inch orion to a close friend of mine, which makes no point in spending hundreds of dollars for something that's not going to be permanent in my trunk and the prefab box your talking about for the 15 inch orion box is not a shitty box, before I was going to get a custom box built in my trunk but like I said in my pervious post the shops i went to in NJ and NY wanted more than $600 to build a custom box for my trunk, also they don't use good work or do quality work the way I want it to be done and on top of that I would have to rent a car for a week or so and I don't know how to build a box my self or have the time to build one being that I go to school, work and gym also. So since I couldn't get a custom built box I did research for awhile and spoke to a couple of my car audio friends and decided to go with FATBOX USA. Checked out there reviews spoke to the people who worked there and even heard a couple of Orions in the fatboxes and they sounded great. And the fatbox is the same as building your own box or even getting a custom box built because of the quality and time they take to build each and every one. It's not built in china or overseas, Fatbox USA actually hand makes each and every box for there customer. Now since I was going to go with fatbox I still couldn't afford a $400 dollar box from them because I'm still paying for college and other things but that's when I found a deal on craiglists for a fatbox and a 15 inch orion for only $550 so I sold the orion and only paid $90 for the box. Now don't get me wrong everything in my build is top quality from the speakers all the way down to the wires. But personally to me the fatbox is a great box just as getting a custom built box from a shop or doing it ur self and the deal I found I could not let that deal go. Also as far as cutting the trunk and messing up the latch I'm getting it professionally cut and putting a steel plate behind the part that's being cut as reinforcement so it won't mess up the latch and the person doing it is the same one installing my air ride suspension. But I appreciate your comment and thanks for ur support bro.
