andym85 Posted March 7, 2008 Report Share Posted March 7, 2008 its called kerf cuts...u cut through the mdf about 5/8" deep....which leaves 1/8"....he drills holes in the cuts b/c he said he was having trouble with air bubbles when he filled the cuts with resin...the holes allow the air to escape... basically after you have all your cuts, just fill them with glue or resin and bend it...id probably glass over them, but thats just me... i likes me some audio stuff... sean 371 Posted March 7, 2008 Report Share Posted March 7, 2008 I spent an hour trying these one day, couldnt keep the MDF from breaking...maybe it was because it was a bit older/scrap wood...but the mdf always cracked...I guess I can stick with glassed over cardboard tubing...
