Finally going to USA this summer! New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C. What to do? Any bassheads around?

Recommended Posts

So I'm finally going to the states! This has been a dream of mine as long as I can remember and this summer it's finally going to happen! :D

I'll be staying in Philadelphia from june 19th to june 30th. Will be visiting New York and Washington D.C, anyone got some tips and places to see? And maybe I can meet up with some fellow bassheads for a demo? :)

I live about a hour from Philly now but wont be around in the summer due to work. And I have only been in the area for about a year and a half and really go do work and home. Only place I went was the philly zoo with the family and then the aquarium across the river in NJ.

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
