JTeas Posted January 12, 2014 Author Report Posted January 12, 2014 15 sorry thought I put that in the post
audiofanaticz Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 3-3.5 cubed after port/woofer/bracing displacement should do fine with a tuning around 33-38hz daily with about 40-45sq inches of port.Ive only messed with the hds 12 so far. Sadly they dont give box specs on their site, and only a handful of T/S specs (unless it was updated recently). So you can only really go off their generic box size spread sheet that says you can put one 15, two 12s, or three 10s in a 3cubed box. I say its generic because they are using these same box specs for their cheap 2.5inch voice coil woofers as their higher power 3inch coil woofers like the hd3 and hd4. Or you can go by their atrend box recomendations, but yet again another prefab method which is built on the same method.
