zayres29
Great video... We went to usac competition in Wichita Falls... This was metered 161, the same team had 4 kicker square 12's on 4 1000d's hitting 167 didnt happen im sure it probably did. just with an audiocontrol mic instead. i dont understand how much a different mic makes ive always heard that if it wasnt TL then it "doesnt count" but 20db off thats not right Btw that was the first person. Ever banned by me while dropping a deuce. Feel privileged

RooTxBeeR
honestly no say i can see 160's with cvr's. this is 160's. if that guy wasn't moving air like this, then it wasn't 160. Was that the dude with the half done wall at the arlington heights meet up that one time? If so dude stepped up his fucking game. Also OP, the difference is, your friend probably tuned and competed, meaning he was hitting a higher Hz. While steve's set up is not for competition what so ever. yeah it is LOL. i was just literally thinking about that meet. its super loud. Damn dude got loud as fuck, I need to hear that thing some time lol. Should show it to my friends who think a few kickers are loud XD On 11/20/2012 at 8:54 PM, AMI CUSTOMS said: Turned mine up today at a light, guy next to me his steering wheel started moving and he looked over at me like I was a magician lol. Who
So what's the difference in old mics and the ones they use now?? Db difference??
AMI CUSTOMS
Old AC mics read 1 frequency, and new mics average the top 3 frequencies together to get a net number. Also the technology in the AC mic and Termlab is completely different. I have been competing since 2003 been on both mics 100s of times.
