Sidekicker
Just found a good deal on some 2/0 flex-a-prene on ebay, almost $1 a foot! Now i need to get some ring terminals, but im not sure if standard car audio 2/0 lugs would work. Would the SHCA 1/0 copper lugs be a better choice? Anyone with experience out there? Heres a link to the wire for anyone interested: http://www.ebay.com/itm/141164540099

SnowDrifter
Here's where I get mine. http://www.genuinedealz.com/marine-electrical-supply/wire-connectors?cat=76&size=48 Sky high also has some really nice lugs. Come with heat shrink too, but they aren't tinned http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-1-0-Gauge-Copper-Ring-Terminals-3-8-RED-BLACK-Heat-Shrink-Tubing-LUGS-/271352272691?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f2ddb1733 ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
Sidekicker
The main reason i asked is because i know most car audio wire runs bigger than the American Wire Guage standard, so i assumed the SHCA 2/0 lugs would be too big but figured the 1/0 lugs might work well (Which i guess is mainly what im asking). I was already ordering some stuff from them so now i can just add those on Edit: Also, whats the consensus on soldering vs. crimping these lugs? I have access to a very high quality electric crimper through my dad who is an industrial electrician, or would i be better of soldering with purplesyrup's method? SnowDrifter
Either is acceptable. I wouldn't rank one any better than the other, just different methodology and whatever is easier to you ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
