Ring terminals for 2/0

Recommended Posts

The main reason i asked is because i know most car audio wire runs bigger than the American Wire Guage standard, so i assumed the SHCA 2/0 lugs would be too big but figured the 1/0 lugs might work well (Which i guess is mainly what im asking).

Sky high 1/0 lugs will fit 2/0 welding

Other lugs, you'll need 2/0

Sky high 2/0 lugs are for 4/0 cable

Awesome, thanks! I was already ordering some stuff from them so now i can just add those on

Edit: Also, whats the consensus on soldering vs. crimping these lugs? I have access to a very high quality electric crimper through my dad who is an industrial electrician, or would i be better of soldering with purplesyrup's method?

Either is acceptable. I wouldn't rank one any better than the other, just different methodology and whatever is easier to you
