I have it in a 2.83 box tuned to 35.5 Hz and running off a ct 1400.1 and this sub sounds pretty damn good I must say. It hits the lows well along with killer metal drum beats. It soaks up the power @1 ohm from the 1400. I have had it full tilt even a little clipping and have never even smelled coil burn. The sub has never gotten hot ( it's inverted so easy to check) the amp has just gotten warm and never hot.
