ROLEXrifleman Posted January 20, 2014 Report Share Posted January 20, 2014 Check the current draw of the car in the on position. remove the positive terminal and use your vom in the amperage setting and use it to complete the circuit. See what the current draw is with no key in the ignition and hen again in the on position. Just don't turn the car over. Your amperage reading will tell you a lot about how much power is being used in both key positions. Rolex you sicken me. I know my fluke does 10 amps Either way, like SD said, in the ON position your going to have more than a couple circuits fighting for power so that half volt drop seems pretty fair.
