Oh and pop that seal off around the body side. It'll give you more room to work. Chances are its a long connected rubber tube but it will stretch out of the way enough to be able to work with. You can then shine a light in the hole and see where it shines through in the vehicle. Best guess.is you'll have to peek through the hole for the panel clips

Give me a half hour and it'd be done on both doors. My Malibu is the same style.

You will want to angle to the bottom of the car towards the floor if you are going in near the grommet. If I remember right. There should be a spot near the bottom that will open up and allow you to get wire through.

So from the top go down. You want to get through the grommet first if you don't you can forget about it basically. Because you won't have the leverage to force it through.the grommet.

is this all working under the dash or in the door jamb?

You're going to work both sides actually.

From door jamb side you'll be working down. There.id a chance that the wires are all sheathed in a boot on the inside. Too and that's why you can't go anywhere.

it may just be easiest to remove door, make some holes and be done lol

I'd cut the sheathe and then you can see who know that sheathe may lead straight to the grommet

do you see the pic where its like a big circle, then a little circle tube inside of that and then all the wires go in the small one? is that a sheath around them?

Have you pulled the boot off of the car side? Does it have the molex connector?
