Toyota tundra sub box suggestions?????

One of my buddies got some kicker comp 10s for free. He's not real big into loud ground pounding systems but he likes some added thump. There is no room under or behind the back seat for an enclosure. I'm thinking about building a simple sealed box on top of the back seat... But he wants to be able to remove it with ease.... Any suggestions on how to make it really simple to disconnect the amp and subs? I'm thinking just mounting the amp on the box with some rubber washers so it won't vibrate the amp... And just unhook the amp and pull it out in one piece. Any comments on this?

Look up Anderson PowerPole connectors for the power. They are quick/easy to connect and disconnect and they make ones that will carry anywhere from 10 - 350 amps.

The only drawback to them is they are not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.

another option is the foot well in the rear

I've built a few that go to seat heigh and are wedged in with the front seat

when you want to take it out move the seat fwd, disconnect the anderson plug and rca's and lift it out

depending on how high you want to build it or how far across you'll get 2 on one side

i normally do a single ported 12 or 15 sealed sub down port to side at top

there are also good if you have baby seats as it gives a nice step or shelf for the kids and it will be able to stay till there about 6-7yeas old when they need the leg room and out of the seat

Downfire the 10 in a sealed box under the seat.

if its like my dads tundra (08) i don't think a sealed 10 would fit under the seat

My setup,

Digital Designs M80

3 Re audio 10's ported tuned to 36 hz

Kenwood x-696

SHCA 0 gauge

Polk audio coax running off hu

I didn't know that. I would scrap the idea of doing an install if an "on the seat box" were the route I was forced to take due to space restrictions.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
