EKCASA Posted January 25, 2014 Report Posted January 25, 2014 Been running my system for a few months now without issue. I have all 1/0 power and grounds and big 3. Noticed for the first time today I'm getting like a 1.5V drop at high volume only when bass hits. I have stock battery and alt but I'm only running a total of 750 rms pulling 110A. Think battery or alt may be on the way out? www.facebook.com/EKCASA System: All Rockford Fosgate Front: 2 Pair Prime 6.5's and 1 pair Prime 5.25 Components Rear: 1 Pair Prime 6.5 3 Ways Subs: 4 Prime R2D2-12's Amps: Front: Prime R250X4 Subs: 2 Prime 500X1d's HU: JVC KD-AR959BS 2 Optima Yellow Tops Singer 230A H/O Alt. Guest Posted January 26, 2014 Report Posted January 26, 2014 go get alt and battery load tested. look for loose connection points in the wire you've added. at the wire lugs (tug on them fairly hard. they shouldn't budge at all). at the input and output of the fuse block. the screws that hold the fuse down (if running an anl/mini anl) or make sure the fuse isn't easy to pull out if using a maxi style fuse. check the ground wire too.
Ahmed Johnson Posted January 26, 2014 Report Posted January 26, 2014 Check your battery. Also, if you have a regular starter battery and not an agm, it probably just needs a recharging. 700 rms aint shit to an agm but to a regular starter it could be a problem.

Yeah 1/0 on 700, but it is CCA and went over so I don't have to do complete rewire when I upgrade. Over kill never hurts. All the ring terminals are soldered and rock solid. Battery is a starter Napa Premium. www.facebook.com/EKCASA System: All Rockford Fosgate Front: 2 Pair Prime 6.5's and 1 pair Prime 5.25 Components Rear: 1 Pair Prime 6.5 3 Ways Subs: 4 Prime R2D2-12's Amps: Front: Prime R250X4 Subs: 2 Prime 500X1d's HU: JVC KD-AR959BS 2 Optima Yellow Tops Singer 230A H/O Alt. Guest Posted January 26, 2014 Report Posted January 26, 2014 compression fittings? Might be your issue there. regular wire lugs or bust edit. unless you mean the ones with the Allen wrench screws. I was thinking of the knukonceptz kompression stuff
