Well, thats a good thing to hear!!!

Not wanting to bother you guys, but lets focus in my case then:

I have 2 optima yellowtops, planning on putting one in the trunk and another on up front

About ring terminals: screw ring or soldered?

I know soldered is better.....but then my soldering skills arent that great, and I figured, since battery terminals are usually screw-based, why ring terminals cant also be screwed?

If you cant solder the ends or have the provisions to crimp I would go to a local battery shop and have them crimp in the ends. BTW copper is the only way to go.

idk, my cca wire hasn't caused a fire yet.

Im sorry let me rephrase the prior statement. Copper is the only way to go on the cable ENDS. IMO there is nothing wrong with CCA cable. Its mostly personal preference.
