Lets supose I have 2 batteries in my car, on under the hood and one in the trunk I've heard more then once that batteries under the hood does almost nothing for feeding your amp, because the amp will only draw current from the nearest power source (the battery that is located in the trunk) Is that true? Or its the exactly same thing as having 2 batts inside the trunk?

Not wanting to bother you guys, but lets focus in my case then: I have 2 optima yellowtops, planning on putting one in the trunk and another on up front About ring terminals: screw ring or soldered? I know soldered is better.....but then my soldering skills arent that great, and I figured, since battery terminals are usually screw-based, why ring terminals cant also be screwed?

If you cant solder the ends or have the provisions to crimp I would go to a local battery shop and have them crimp in the ends.
