oldsoundguy
I have two HDC 3 12" subs. One is a dual 1ohm and one is a dual 2ohm. I have the CT 2500 and what I am going to do is run the dual 2ohm at 1ohm load on the 2500 to see what it can do and how long it will last. Then if it fries then I will do a re cone to a dual 1 ohm and run both subs off this amp at 1 ohm. I just want to see if it can take it. I guess I will find out. I will invert the sub so I can feel and smell if its getting too much power. The amp has done 3900wRMS @ 1ohm and 14.4 on the amp dyno. My plan was to run 2 12" subs so the dual 2 was going to get a re cone anyway so I could run two at 1ohm off this amp. 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/

CleanSierra
I'll be running two SQ HDC3 10"subs with newest soft parts and baskets off of an SQ 3500@1 ohm. The amp is supposed to put out 4300 @ 1 ohm and I'll have voltage drop no doubt. On paper 2150W per sub. In reality, I'll be lucky to get the 1500W to each sub. I'll be running a stout electrical for the setup. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

Ahmed Johnson
I wouldn't be surprised If you could put a clean 1800-2000 watts to one for hours. Aluminum coil wouldn't give a shit about 2000 watts. who knows when those will fail That image got rolling.
