Guest Posted January 31, 2014 Report Share Posted January 31, 2014 lol. ct sounds 900 will do 1k at a little under 13v. soundstream will do at at 14.4v. in the real life, you wont be holding 14.4v. a drop to 13v or mid 12's is more realistic. plus the ct sounds amp looks way sexier than anything soundstream has released lately. edit: ct sounds amp is a tad smaller too, if you need the space. lesstutrey Posted January 31, 2014 Author Report Share Posted January 31, 2014 I backed out. I got burned when i ordered RE (though not horribly i am ok with 320w @ 4ohm for 175$). I just look at the soundqubed and and CT and see really really weak 4 ohm ratings, which is what i'd like to run since i only have a 200a alternator on a 350sbc with standard pulley setup (not serpentine conversion) and only a single battery with current design.. so 1 ohm seems kinda outta the question for daily driver load.
