Joe X Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 Ok here is some idea for a dual tuning box, YOU will have to decide you low and high tunings based on your preference and the vehicle's acoustics to maximize SPL: External Height = 24.625 inExternal Width = 35 inExternal Depth = 25 in Wood 3/4", double later baffle. Ports 6" in diameter, 15" in length for the stated tunings. High tune - 4 ports open: Fb = 42.6 HzVb = 8.7 ft^3 Low tune - 3 ports open 1 plugged: Fb = 36.3 HzVb = 8.9 ft^3
SlamminBeats Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 Maybe do a wall? dont wall 2 15s.
Chance_P Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 Ive done setups in cherokees, grand cherokees, and a patriot, and all have had better output from subs and port firing to the rear. I know youve got a compass, but just throwing the info out there.
Chance_P Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 Maybe do a wall? Im doing a wall in my grand with 2x hdc318's. If youre gonna wall it id go with 3x 15's or 2x 18's. 2x 15's isnt enough to justify it since youve got the space to make a box work, imo. If you wanna do it though go for it!

Joe X Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 All ports are 6" in diameter and for the stated tunings all are 15" in length, free airspace in front of both ends is 6" minimum as well. The ports can also be done in a removable module if needed for more tuning options.
Guest Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 wall is useless unless you're doing 4 15's or 3 or 4 18's
