evermaxx Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 Equipment - Pioneer 80PRS, Crescendo 1100.4 - 4 sets of Mezzo's & 1 set of Mid-ranges from Crescendo Now what would be the best, in your opinion how to wire these? I thought about the 2 sets of comps on channel 1 & 2 sets on channel 2 and the mid bass on 3 & 4 unbridged. Just looking for some opinions on what would be the best thing to do with said equipment. btw, its 1 set of comps in each door & midbass in back doors. Thanks guys! finkster Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 youngbass is right. It makes no sense wiring the midbass stereo and the comps mono. If anything do it the other way around. Or just run one comp set on ch1, the other on 2, and a midbass on 3 and 4. Pretty cut and dry there. If this isn't what you're asking, then be a bit more specific. evermaxx Posted February 4, 2014 Author Report Posted February 4, 2014 There's a total of 4 sets of comps.. meaning 2 sets per in each front door & then one pwx mid per back door. Or am I just confusing myself Team Subsonic Lows Get your garbage EMF products of my amp bitch Man....it makes a nice work bench
finkster Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 You are confused. A "set" consists of one mid and one tweeter. Wiring one mid and tweeter together (of course using a crossover) is considered a set. Mid and tweet ch1. mid to tweet ch2. Midbass on ch3. Midbass on ch4. evermaxx Posted February 4, 2014 Author Report Posted February 4, 2014 Then that leaves two sets not connected. Total of 4 sets on components & 2 pwx 6.5 mid drivers. Team Subsonic Lows Get your garbage EMF products of my amp bitch Man....it makes a nice work bench
finkster Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 Oh shit I thought it said 2 sets of comps. Yea wire the left 2 sets in parallel to ch1. the right 2 sets in parallel to ch2 midbass left to 3 and midbass right to 4.
