Ryon Johnson Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 I have one kinetic 1800 on the left side of the suv and another on the right, I have a dc 3.5k, and 3 other amps around 500 rms each, should I make them draw from the batt connected to the run to the front batt, make the smaller amps draw from one and the 3.5k from another, or does it matter where they draw from?
Ryon Johnson Posted February 6, 2014 Author Report Posted February 6, 2014 Also another question, I have my frame ground coming off the batt farthest from the runs to the front, is that ideal or does it matter which one is grounded? Thanks.
alaskanzx5 Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 I don't think it will make a difference but you can try t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
Tarball Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 "Ideally" you would want your positive /negative runs leading to these batteries from the vehicles electrical system equal length. Then you would want equal length wires from each battery leading into your amps. You probably won't hear the difference though. Ryon Johnson Posted February 6, 2014 Author Report Posted February 6, 2014 I have 2 runs of 1/0 awg for power and ground from front batt to the batt on the left in the rear then 2 runs to the right rear batt from the left rear batt then 2 ground runs from the right batt to the frame, with that set up which batt should I make the 3.5k draw from?
alaskanzx5 Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 They are all wired together, it won't cat what battery it pulls power from it will Judy simply pull power when needed. It's not like the amp can think, well I don't like the left bay so i'm going to use the right batt. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
