SQL50
Could you get away with 8 gauge wiring and still get the power you need out of it? The amp is for a friend of mine, I know that 4 gauge is the best option, but he said that he doesn't plan on running a bigger amp. The wiring kit would be a 8 gauge Rockford kit, will this get the job done?

SQL50
The power cable is 17 ft long, he drives an extended cab chevy, so I don't think you would need the full 17 ft. Maybe a 13-15 ft run?
hammiethebasshead
the run will be around 10-13 ft. I'll text you about it sql50 once you get a speaker moving so hard that its possible to make tinsels slap, you are already kissing "SQ" goodbye. Don't get me wrong, as I smoke Marlboro Reds, but if I saw one more kid with that smug-ass look (Look at me I'm smoking indoors) on their face, I was going to shove that thing so far up someone's ass that they'd look like a hillbilly trying to understand quantitative prediction theorem. You know why people are ass holes online but not in person? Because getting punched in the mouth hurts.

poorfish88
4ga all the way, I just bought that same amp to put in my wife's car. I wish RF would make the Power series amps look like the new Punch amps.
