The pair ate up my Ampere 3800D with EASE! Now.. after I broke them in, I did a bit of "thermal" testing. I drove to my dads house (like 50mins away), and played ALL decaf. I looked for songs that were either my tuning freq or under.. and had the knob between like 80-100% the whole way. The subs barely got warm. Oh.. these were subs with NO options either.. so it had the 4 layer 3" VC. Don't be afraid to feed the sub some power. Now for amps, I miss my Rockford 1500-1bdCP i had on my sa8s.. But a budget would help Im guessing like $450-500? Maybe i missed it?
