DRAMAQUEEN
I wanna try out some 8's as my main sub set up. I already have one 12 that hits 143 on the TL. But I just wanna see how loud I could get maybe four-six 8's. Think it would be louder than 143db? The amp would be a Brutus 1606d. What do you think? what 12 do you have now Quote ** in with the new**96 grand am GT 2- dc lv 3 12'smemphis mc1000d145.3@46 hz** out with old**96 Grand am GT12w71000/1 143.6 @ 46 hz on the new TLhttp://img220.imageshack.us/my.php?image=av1023dc4.jpg

Forevrbumpn
I would love a bunch of 8s to play with. MCM Electronics makes a high xmax 8" sub for only $25, and its pretty bad ass Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
Pokey
I still need prices...I can't find them anywhere. And box plans. Would the aa8's hold up to 1600 watts??? How loud do you think 4 aa8's on 1600watts would get?
Ray
prices are 60.00 per re 8 shipped and aa 8's are like 70 shipped straight from them. box plans are 35.00 from me. aa 8's will hang with 500rms each and your car will hit 250dbeezzzzz Quote 2008 California state record holder 157.2 Bassrace2009 California state record holder 157.0 BassraceRollin 50's 158.7db2009 King of Cali Bassrace2009 USACi score 160.5 @ 42hz
Pokey
Ok Ok, prices seem good...that's a lil more than what I paid for my 12, but worth it to me...more practical for my truck. Good to know the aa8's won't blow up on me with that amp. But you charge $35 just to give someone measurements for a box??? Not tryin to be an asshole here, but come on man. It ain't like I'm buying YOUR box...they're just measurements for a box. I understand trying to make a lil money on the side, but for box plans. It ain't like it's patented or anything. Come on.......lol.
